What makes a Key West shirt
Most “Key West” shirts are souvenir cotton that fades by the second summer. Ours are performance sun shirts first: a lightweight polyester knit rated UPF 50+ (it blocks about 98% of UVA and UVB), moisture-wicking so it dries on the boat, and printed so the design is set into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it. That is why the same designs work for a flats trip at sunrise, a sandbar afternoon and dinner on Duval.
