What to look for in a men’s sun shirt
Three things: a real UPF rating, a fabric that dries fast, and a cut you will actually wear all day. Ours are rated UPF 50+ (about 98% of UVA and UVB blocked), made from a soft polyester knit that wicks sweat and dries in minutes, and cut loose so air moves and the shirt never sticks when it is wet. The design is set into the fabric — it will not crack, peel or fade the way a screen print does after a season of salt water.
Long sleeve, hoodie or short sleeve?
- Long sleeve — the everyday sun shirt for fishing, boating and yard work. Full arm coverage, no sunscreen on the arms.
- Sun hoodie — adds a hood for the neck and ears, the places that burn first. The one to wear offshore, on the flats and on long runs.
- Short sleeve — the same fabric for the hottest afternoons, the dock and everyday wear.
Fit and sizing
Unisex sizing from XS to 3XL. Sun shirts are cut relaxed by design — if you prefer a trimmer look, go down a size. The size guide lists chest and length for every style, and fit exchanges within 30 days are easy.
Care
Rinse after salt water, wash cold, skip the fabric softener (it coats the wicking fibres) and hang or tumble low. The print is part of the fabric, so no special treatment.

Are these fishing shirts?

Yes. They work as a rash guard for snorkeling and swimming and dry on the boat ride back.
