Why long sleeve is the everyday sun shirt
Arms take more sun than any other part of you on a boat, a beach or a job site, and sunscreen on the forearms is gone after the first cast or swim. A long sleeve UPF 50+ shirt covers them for the whole day without reapplying. Ours are cooler than short sleeves in direct sun — the fabric shades the skin and wicks sweat away — and they dry in minutes after a wave over the bow.
What is in the fabric
- UPF 50+ — the highest rating on the scale; blocks about 98% of UV rays.
- Moisture-wicking, quick-drying polyester knit — pulls sweat off the skin, dries on the boat, resists odour.
- Print set into the fabric — no thick plastic panel, no cracking or peeling; the shirt feels the same front and back.
