Why long sleeve is the everyday sun shirt
Arms take more sun than any other part of you on a boat, a beach or a job site, and sunscreen on the forearms is gone after the first cast or swim. A long sleeve UPF 50+ shirt covers them for the whole day without reapplying. Ours are cooler than short sleeves in direct sun (the fabric shades the skin and wicks sweat away) and they dry in minutes after a wave over the bow.
What is in the fabric
- UPF 50+: the highest rating on the scale; blocks about 98% of UV rays.
- Moisture-wicking, quick-drying polyester knit: pulls sweat off the skin, dries on the boat, resists odour.
- Print set into the fabric: no thick plastic panel, no cracking or peeling; the shirt feels the same front and back.
